Fitness at Rick’s Place

Fitness at Rick’s Place offers exercising outdoors to connect individuals and families to nature.

This program focuses on being healthy as a community and is open to all levels and ages!

This program covers multiple types and styles of fitness to target your whole body. During the hour-long class, participants will use their body weight, dumbbells, and kettlebells to train their physical and mental health. Participants can register to attend with their families or by themselves.

Class is from 9:30 am-10:30 am and is always on a Saturday.

Mich Coomes, CF L2 NASM, is a certified personal trainer and group fitness coach. She is passionate about helping people of all ages, shapes, and sizes reach their goals. Mich knows that every individual’s goals and abilities are different, so she ensures that every skill taught can be tailored to you.

Fitness classes outdoors can be a game-changer for people who want to break out of the usual workout routine while experiencing refreshing workout sessions. This program offers an exciting experience to learn new exercises and aspects of your fitness journey.

This program is free of charge to service members and their families. Registration opens for each session 2 weeks before that session’s start date.

You will be asked for proof of Military Affiliation at check-in for this program. Have your Military ID available. If you have any questions about what qualifies as proof of affiliation, please reach out to the team at Rick’s Place.

Each participant is required to register for this program, with 1 ticket needed per individual.

The start and end times are prompt. If anyone under the age of 18 is attending, they will need a parent on the premises for the duration of the program.
