What We Offer

Food, Fun & Quality Activities (Always Free for Active Duty Service Members and Dependents)
Our events and programs are designed to strengthen military members as they unwind, connect, and create lasting memories through engaging, high-quality activities in a welcoming and honoring environment.
A Place to Belong
Whether it’s outdoor adventures, community gatherings, or meaningful conversations, RHF provides a space where every military-connected individual can be part of something greater than themselves.

Who We Are

The Rick Herrema Foundation (RHF) was founded in December 2014 by soldiers for soldiers. We exist to strengthen relationships and build community for the Military Family through fun, quality activities. All RHF programs and experiences are offered at no cost to the military community.

Our Journey

Fayetteville / Fort Bragg, NC – Our First Site
Rick’s Place, a 50-acre private greenspace, opened to serve active duty military members and veterans. Rooted in RHF’s core values, it offers a safe, welcoming space to build community, strengthen relationships, and enjoy quality time together.
Killeen / Fort Cavazos, TX – Our Next Chapter
At the invitation of Fort Cavazos leadership, RHF is expanding to Central Texas — home to the second-largest military population in the U.S. With a phased site buildout underway, we’re honored to extend the RHF experience to serve even more military members and their loved ones.
