Waiver
PLEASE read the Park Rules (listed below) BEFORE submitting.
We will also have copies of this release on site for you to sign if you do not wish to sign electronically.
I have read and understand RHF’s rules of conduct that are listed below. While on the property I and/or my minor children agree to follow those rules. If I/we do not, I understand I/we may be asked to leave Rick’s Place.
I understand that the activity or event I am participating in may involve some risk to myself or my minor children.
I release and forever discharge and hold harmless the Rick Herrema Foundation (“RHF”) and its directors, officers, employees, agents, and successors from any liability, claims, or demands of any kind, either in law or in equity. I understand that this Waiver releases RHF from any liability or claim related to bodily injury, personal injury, illness, death, or property damage that may result to myself or my minor child(ren) from participation in an activity, or use of facility, hosted or operated by RHF.
I further understand that RHF does not assume any responsibility for or obligation to provide me with financial or other assistance, including but not limited to medical, health, or disability benefits or insurance of any kind.
I also discharge RHF from any claim related to first-aid treatment or other emergency medical services rendered in connection to any emergency that occurs during my participation in the event or use of the facilities.
Park Rules
- Any group with more than 20 individuals are required to submit a park reservation form 30 days out from their arrival and must be approved by a Rick's Place staff member. This helps everyone have the best experience here on the property!
- Park in the parking lot that is located just as you drive thru the main gate. For special events please follow signs to park in designated areas. Please do not park in our neighbors' yards.
- Check-in at our visitor center (the house with American flag) where you will find the waiver and sign in sheet. Waivers must be signed per family or individuals. There is also an electronic process by scanning the RHF QR code at the information booth (across from the barn) and on the porch of the welcome center (the house).
- Unsupervised, unaccompanied minors under the age of 18 will be asked to leave the park. RHF is a park designed to help people bond with loved ones and unaccompanied minor services are outside of RHF's mission.
- Play at your own risk during park hours. No trespassing after hours when park is closed. Hours are posted on web, social, and on the gate. Video surveillance is in use!
- No fires or grills allowed on property without permission.
- No soliciting, vending, or peddling.
- No disfiguration or removal of property.
- Be aware of possible exposure to and allergic reactions to things such as insects, tick & snake bites (copperheads), and/or poisonous plants.
- We love dogs but we are not a dog park. Follow the City's dog leash laws. Dogs must be leashed. Limit of 2 pets per family in the park. Exceptions made for animal service organizations (approval required). Please clean up after your pet and dispose of your pet's waste in waste stations on property.
- Supervise your kids. Staff will correct or redirect kids, especially where safety is an issue. We reserve the right to ask any visitor to leave the property.
- Please help keep Rick’s Place clean by placing all trash in trash cans located around the property.
- Rough language can take a hike.
- No fighting. In case of conflict please see a Rick’s Place team member or call 911.
- No alcohol, glass containers, tobacco, vaping, firearms, or fireworks allowed on property.
- No swimming in the pond, creek, or when it floods.
- Unmanned aircraft (e.g. drones) require Rick’s Place permission to operate in designated areas only.
